From the very outset our aim is to introduce transportation for common man of Pakistan at affordable price and by the Grace of all Mighty Allah within a very short span of five years we became sole distributor in Pakistan for the two very large and famous automobile brands of China i.e. Changan and Gonow, and has successfully introduced many new models of vans, single and double cabin pickups, light trucks in CBU form and has become the first company of the world to assemble 800cc Chinese single cabin Right Hand Drive pickup outside China.

Karakoram Motors (Pvt.) Ltd has also the honor to be the Exclusive Distributor for CHONGQING LIFAN INDUSTRY (GROUP) CO., LTD which was founded in 1992. It is one of the biggest privately owned enterprises in China. After 15 years of incessant efforts, Lifan Group has grown and developed into a large-scale private enterprise whose prime competencies include technology development, manufacturing and sales of vehicles & motorcycles the company has recently developed its stakes in financial sector as well.
Lifan annually sell thousands of cars and motorcycles to different foreign countries its annual sales revenue runs into billion of Yuan, and its employees strength consist on12,000 able bodied men and women which earned the company membership of Chinese Top 500 enterprise, and stood first among the Top 50 private enterprises in Chongqing.
In January 2006, the company launched its new model of sedan car Lifan 520 in the international market and had formally marched into vehicle industry, The company had pumped over 2.4 billion Yuan in Lifan’s sedan project, at present the four main work lines - pressing, welding, painting and assembling has formed with a designing and producing capacity of 150,000 units annually. The company has established an Automobile Academy during 2006 and by the end of 2007 it has acquired 3807 patents at home and aboard making Lifan the top performing automobile company among all the private enterprises in china. Some other products developed by Lifan passed EU’s E-mark accreditation, indicating that Lifan’s products can enter 18 European countries without restriction. Besides exporting Lifan cars to more than 30 countries in CBU form the company has also started the CKD business in Vietnam, Iran, Egypt and Russia by starting the assembly of Lifan 520 sedan model.
As sole distributor for Pakistan Karakoram Motors is planning to launch Lifan 520 sedan model by the end of 2008 both in CBU and CKD form and will also introduce other models in subsequent years hence once again would become the first company of the world to start producing RHD Chinese cars outside China.
