The First Successful Crash Test of China Vehicle Overseas

Recently, a LIFAN 520 car taken at random from LIFAN CKD Assembly Factory DERWAYS successfully passed the Crash Test at a government-regulated speed of 56km/h in the Russia National Laboratory.

To assure a completely open and candid crash test, the business office of LIFAN AUTO in Russia invited mainstream Russian medias as DRIVE, AUTO WORLD MAGAZINE, DEALER CAR WEB etc. to report this scene.

As released, the Automobile Examination Organization which is in charge of this test is an authorized Russia Federation National Grade organization, and the report it issues inarguably matches the homologation of EU.

By adopting Europe No.R-94 criteria, which is a compellent test item for all the foreign cars distributed in Russia, the sample LIFAN520 car was speedup to 56km/h, and hit the obstacle with 40% of its interface.

According to the test report, the airbag of LIFAN520 (7130) car opened up immediately, Pole A, Pole B, Pole C of the car were perfectly well, the driver’s compartment was basically not inclined to transmute, no pressure on the dummy, the steering wheel didn’t displace much, the four car doors could be open smoothly, the engine room efficiently transmuted and absorbed the crash energy, no leaking oil or liquid, and the battery was in good order and no short circuit.
Officer from Russia Crash Test Centre commended that the test result was good, and rarely could be happened to European cars. This could be credited to the sound design of LIFAN car’s body and its high-quality material.

Insiders said that LIFAN car, as the first Chinese car which over passed the test of the authorized organization of the Russian Government, showed its reliable security and high quality to the world. Furthermore, this test exerts much indelible positive effort to the brand build of China car, and to change the prejudice in Russia market that China car are all bad and tin pot.
